Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation Review.

 

For the last 2 years, I have been obsessed with the Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation. Lily Lolo is a completely cruelty free brand that is BUAV and PETA approved. The first thing I love about this range of foundation is the good selection of shades that they offer, being very pale I often find that the lightest colours in ranges give me a not so subtle orange glow, but not this range! There are 18 shades in the range and personally I use the China doll shade which blends perfectly as a second skin. Having problem skin I like a foundation that has a fairly build-able coverage but doesn’t look cakey, this foundation delivers this. I also like that this foundation has SPF 15 so I feel its helping to protect my skin from daily damage. Another thing I really like about the foundation and across the Lily Lolo brand, is the super cute packaging! Some mineral powder foundations can be quite messy to use but I find this packaging to be both pretty and efficient. Furthermore, the foundation is very fairly priced for such good quality at just £13.49 and it does last a good few months, even being used pretty much every day. In short, as my favourite all time foundation I really could not recommend it enough!

I’m Issy, a 20 year old student with too many interests. As a result, I had some difficulty deciding what focus this blog should actually take. Originally I planned this to be a blog which would review skincare and beauty products. As a committed Veggie and animal lover, I try to only use products I know are cruelty free and obviously as a student I always have to keep my products within a reasonable price range. As an avid baker and cake maker, I hope to feature some good recipes I find whilst lurking recipe websites or reading through my ever growing collection of recipe books with the addition of some of my own (hopefully) helpful tips and tricks. I’m also planning on posting the occasional review of some books, films and television series that I have particularly enjoyed.
